Applicant Requirements

  • Female applicants must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must complete a personal or telephone interview with the Director

  • Submit a completed application and life history letter, approved by staff

  • Provide a signed financial agreement, which includes:

    • A non-refundable $500 entrance fee

    • $750 for the first month’s fee

    • A transportation deposit may also be required for students living outside the Valdosta area

  • Must be detoxed and drug/alcohol free prior to arrival

    • Applicants may be drug tested upon arrival

    • Tapering of certain medications may be required under a physician’s care and at staff discretion

  • A physical examination is required

    • The physical exam form must be completed by a physician and mailed, faxed, or emailed to us

  • Must bring original Social Security Card and Driver’s License or State ID Card

  • If applicable, provide the names, addresses, and phone numbers of:

    • Probation or parole officers

    • Attorneys or public defenders

    • Include any court orders or mandatory appearances

  • Must sign an admission agreement and adhere to all guidelines and rules of the South Georgia House of Hope
